Not a bad start

This game is pretty cool, but could be so much more. I like the physics of the game, but it is kind of difficult to gauge the exact direction a ship will fire in. I like that the ship's roll affects the range of the shot. Nice touch there. It would be helpful if there was some permanent indicator of wind direction on the screen. The pennant at the top of the mast is difficult to gauge. I'd like to see longer and more varied campaigns, perhaps with larger-scale battles and friendly ships as well. Perhaps a campaign close to land would also add some variety. It seems like there's a good foundation here. I'd like to see you build more upon it in future releases.

This game is worth the $3.99 definently. This is the best game on the app store! I highly recommend this game.

Great Physics & Good Game Play

The game is very enjoyable, not too easy and yet not too hard. Decent graphics. Great implementation of game physics, especially the importance of keeping on eye on wind direction (speed is life) and the rolling of the ship and timing the firing of guns for distance. Wish there were more scenarios/battles. The enemy tactics are a bit simplistic; engagement consists of all enemy ships going straight for you (and sometimes bump into each other). It would be nice if the enemy ships would retreat after a certain level of damage. Despite the limited enemy tactics, the enemy ships still make it a decent challenge, especially on the hard setting. This game is well worth it if you like naval tactical simulations.

A good .99 cent game

But at $3.99 it is not worth it. Played thru all levels on easy, med and hard in about 30 min. Needs more levels!
