Randall Dark hit a home run with this! The storyline and values presented are a must for children of all ages. I looove Roopert! The interactive element will keep children entertained regardless of their age and the story draws them in and lets their imaginations run right along with Rupert and Mr. Stinky. This app is a definite must have and a perfect gift as well!

Seriously good on multiple levels!

Texas Grandpa

Tablet based children's books are a delicate balance. The story has to be a parable, with many layers of meaning for different ages and points of view. The art and animation have to be colorful enough to engage the youngest reader, but with enough subtleties to maintain the interest of Grandpa at bedtime. The 'extras' have to be well executed and provide the opportunity for enrichment. Randall Dark and the Ever After Tale team have hit the sweet spot with "Tale of Sasquatch". Great story, technically executed well. Interesting characters and enough inside jokes for adults to have a chuckle while reading to the kiddo. Just a few minor cringes ('butt' isn't on the allowed vocabulary list for our granddaughter and Mr. Stinky treads pretty close to the inappropriate line on a couple of occasions, but never crosses), but nothing that lessened my overall positive experience. Lots of fun here, eh? ;)

Cute, interactive, and fun!

Tale of Sasquatch kept my preschooler entertained through the whole story. She was captivated by the playful animation and loved the extras! She did the puzzles and paintings over and over again after reading the story. Randall Dark hit it out of the park with this children's story!

our 2 young kids really enjoy this app. this is something they can interact with and have spent hours using. would recommend to anyone with youngs kids to try this app out

Clever App!!

My four year old loves this clever little app. The story is simple and easy to follow yet interactive enough to keep him engaged. We now run around the house pretending to turn each other into a bear, then a human. Get the app and you'll see what I mean! I highly recommend this for the little ones.

Rupert learns the value of listening to good advice. Everyone has a Mr. Stinky in life at some time. This story is thought out well and gives kids and adults a fun way to realize the impact of their choices. Highly recommended! Good stuff!

Fun Tale in Several Languages!

I bought the app wanting to have a nice story for my kids to enjoy. A friend recommended it so I bought it and I was way more than pleased. The app, I thought, would have a nice story as I said, but it turns out it has a bunch of fun and clever games (as well as other things). The story moved me because I could relate to it from my childhood. The big bonus is that it is in Spanish (as well as other languages.) All around a super great app! Great sound too...

Really well done app. The animation is professionally done, and the "twist" at the end reminds me of Fiyero's character arc in "Wicked." Both children and their parents will find this an entertaining and engaging read.
