Unfortunately it insists on keeping the GPS active. Since the gps eats battery like a lion eats steak, I had to uninstall it. I recommend you give an option to use location services "While Using" instead of "Always"

This app is terrible it basically makes you sign in with your Facebook account and if you don't then it doesn't show all of the options especially for the food.
