TACTX is like Tic-Tac-Toe on steroids. Its a strategy game that starts out simply but gets complex fast. 3 in a row vertically, diagonally or horizontally earns you 3 points BUT the game doesn't stop there. Add to your lines to get many more points.
Your choices are to score, block your opponent from scoring, or go into an empty square for some imagined future advantage. Add the fact that every new game board has different squares blocked out and you'll see how quickly it gets complex. High score wins... Good luck! (And watch those diagonals.)
To make the game even more challenging, there's a countdown timer to play your opponent against the clock!

Really fun game of tactics and strategy

The rules are simple in this two player game: place your marbles in a row to earn points. But just like classic checkers, it's easy to play, hard to win. Addictingly crisp play, you'll want to play again and again. I like the sound effect of the scoring, sounds like a cool old mechanical arcade game. I'll probably get the upgrade for more game layouts and the timer feature. Fun for any and all ages!

A mind bending 2 player game that takes zero time to learn. I knew how to get 3 in a row to score. TACTX really began as I decided between blocking my opponent, adding to rows or looking to score multiple angles. It’s a pure strategy game like go or checkers.

I'm not a game player nor a game lover, however, the simplicity of this game is quite noticeable and its entertainment value is merited. It's enjoyable, relaxing, challenging and enticing. A new fan.

I really enjoy playing this game, similar in play and strategy to tic tac toe but the play and strategy continue on and on. A brilliant concept for a game, download this game you won't regret it!

This is not tic tac toe. To me it was more like backgammon. Lots of fun and levels of expertize. It tests your sense of special relationships, your ability to assess your opponent skills and predict what they might do next. Full disclosure; the first time I played was against the game’s developer and I won! I may have quit while I was ahead but who cares. TACTX can be addictive. Definitely worth having.
