Fantastic app! Made working anywhere truly possible!

Love the app! Can't imagine without it. I can access and edit files on my laptop directly from my phone or my ipad, share a folder with my coworkers any time, sync up all my documents, and send large files without worrying about outlook mail size limit. On top of that, the design is just so pretty. Love it!

Love at first swipe and then some..

This app delights. It's playful. Great features always there without being intrusive - Jeeves comes to mind for PG Wodehouse fans. Icons are sharp, transitions fluid and typography impeccable. Task execution is clinical with staged disclosure applied to great effect in meeting insights and shared link features. Progressive disclosure is applied handily to features like visual search and reverting to older versions of files. In app PDF annotations are just EASY - wife loves it. There are restaurants and then there are 3 star Michelin restaurants....

update to windows client rendered this useless for me

foomun

syncplicity updated their windows client with this "feature": " The Syncplicity desktop client no longer supports syncing files from remote storage locations. These locations include mapped network drives, external storage unc path and removable storage devices such as USB drives. The Syncplicity client displays an error message when you attempt to add folders to your Syncplicity account from any network share or external drive." I don't store my documents on my local drive, I put them on an external drive, and I wouldn't think I'm alone in this. I unknowingly ran the client update and got a message my file structure was no longer supported. Poof, that's it. And it's not like I'm going to select single folders and files out of my documents tree and drag them onto my c drive. I'm going to Dropbox and using Windows symbolic links to get my content synced in place. Adios Syncplicity.

Rendered useless by feature downgrade and app crashes

Mmaammbboo

My love affaire lasted very short. Our IT department made a deal with syncplicity and shortly after Roll out of the windows client Syncplicity surprised us 4000 employees with a constant update nagging screen which we couldn't do anything about since local admin rights are not available to normal user. If you offer an application in a business environment this is a fat Nono. Once The update was rolled out to my great enjoyment I could not sync anymore from network drives. This feature was deactivated. How convenient that we HAVE to store all relevant data on a network drive for security reasons. Just with one update the whole app lost its single purpose for us. To add insult to injury since iOS8 the app is constantly crashing on my iPad preventing me from syncing all the files I just copied from the network drive to my local drive. Syncplicity has become completely useless over the course of just a couple of days. Don't be fooled by marketing and fanboys ranking the app high. This deserves zero stars.
