Nice Symbolic Calculator!

This app gets better and better! I use desktop MATLAB every day but I like this app for quick calculations and algebraic simplifications on the go. Plus my teenager can use it to double check algebra and calculus homework! I would love to see things like FFT and correlation added to make this app even better.

I purchased both phone and MAC versions. It is an excellent app. The format is very similar to TI calculators. The name should be changed appropriately so that it shows up on the top search results when someone looks for such app. It took me installing/uninstalling several apps to finally find this. BTW, this is the only paid app on my phone. So I mean it.

I teach university algebra and trig. This calculator has all the functions of the expensive calculators and always with me. No crashes. No problems! I use the calculator for everything! Checking my own work... checking students' work... graphing trig functions... solving 3 equations 3 unknowns, etc!

Have tried several calculator apps but this is my favorite. I use a TI-89 in my engineering practice and this app is the closest. For a more familiar keyboard go to Menu, Appearance, Keyboard Layout, Operators on Right.

I like the method of editing previous calculations reducing reentering of information. Updated April 26. 2017 This is an 32-bit application that will not be supported in iOS 11 which only supports 64-bit applications. This is still the best calculator but I hope it will be updated soon. For more information, see "App Compatibility" in "Settings, General, About, Application" under "SymCalc" in iOS 10.3.
