1) Communicate spontaneously, like you were in the same room, by selecting WHO can speak directly into your headphones. Your team mates? Your significant other? Your clients? Your family and friends?
2) Leave your MUSIC running and intermittently chat over it; we adjust the volume automatically.
3) Instantly Switch On and Switch Off, so you can concentrate or be disturbed WHEN YOU want.
4) Convey to others when you're available for voice chat and know when they are.
5) Use it BY YOURSELF to control how loud you hear the things going on around you (like cars, or that person that sits next to you).
6. You can still text or voice message but real time voice chat is so easy that you’ll find you have less messages piling up.
7. Control it using your voice: "Talk to James." "Do not disturb." "Respond." "Transparency On."
8. Integrate it with other awesome services like Slack. Visit our website to learn more.
9. Invite your friends / coworkers and let music bring you closer together!
10. Talk to a real person if you're having trouble with the app.
11. Use it with our Mac and Web apps, let your friends reach you even if they don’t have the app!
Talk to you on Switchboard!
Switchboard is Superpowered
Great app for remote teams to do standups and stay in touch through the work day and the music sharing feature is awesome to keep family and coworkers listening to tunes together
Could not onboard my team easily. Not intuitive, thus we passed on opportunities at this time. Great idea set, but needs a bit more tweaking.
Really awesome i can listen to my music and still hear people talking to me in the room or far away. Group chat also made easy for my distributed team meetings too.
This is a well executed concept (though a bit buggy and flaky). However, during the 13 hours I’ve had it installed, it’s used 69% of my battery for 21 min on screen and 8.2 hours of background usage. With proper use of push for background activity, that total should be a tiny fraction of the actual amount. Would give it 4 stars if the battery drain wasn’t horrendous.
