Poor design

Couldn't quite figure out how this app intends for me to use it. Doesn't make intuitive sense. Also, kinda put off by the first screen which demanded that I select "Man" or "Woman." While I realize this may be a proxy for vocal range in many people, it certainly isn't for me.
