App-loving mom
This is the worst app ever. We need a refund ASAP. The only worthwhile info. on this app are 3 activities a child would need supervision & materials for. Everything else is branding & merchandising. Awful app. I would not pay .99 cents for this app. Much less $9.99. I gave it one star because the review setup requires it. But if it had been up to me, I would have given it 0 stars.

I purchased this app as an extension for my sound unit with my first graders. The book is long and the phonics part of it is basically just lots of words starting with 's'. I lost interest right away. Most of my first graders would not be able to read this book. There is an option to record myself reading the book, but I don't have time to do that. The games are simple non-related games like Concentration and puzzle pictures, in which no actual facts about sound are learned. The experiment ideas offered are your typical sound experiments such as musical water bottles. *Definitely NOT* worth the insanely expensive price!!!
