Absolutely and Unbelievably Great

I bought this game as a bit of a spur-of-the-moment purchase, and it turned out to be hands down my favorite game on the App Store. It’s just a crazy beautiful journey of a game and I would recommend everyone plays it.

Just completed the game and honestly was unimpressed. Generally, I love adventure games, especially ones with a wink and a nod to their own campy mechanics. This one is overblown in its self-references and unnecessarily pared down to having a single pixel as a face. Like, it took half the game to realize the protagonist uses female gender pronouns. It has style, but seemingly for style's sake. The paper-thin plot is left like a series of archetypal placeholders, Jungian references without fleshed out characters, and yet, there seems to be one character that shines through: the unambitious, possibly stoner college guy voice that took some basic 101 courses on literature and psychology and thinks it sounds pretty rad to work big words into a video game without knowing why or what they mean. Still, walking around a cosmic grotto for a gameplay is ok with me. Kudos for a game about nothing. That's the one thing I actually liked.
Good until it crashed

I’ve played it on both my iPhone X and my iPad and both times it crashed at the same moment in the game. Bummer. But hey at least I didn’t pay for it. Oh wait. I did. Double bummer.

Oddly this was presented as an App of the Day in the App Store’s “Today” section, yet I can’t get this to work on my iPhone X. I cannot progress after the initial screen with the boss...
Astonishing, Magical!

One of the best games on the App Store! I’ve come back to play so many times it’s become like an old friend. The story, musical score and atmospheric genius just draws one in. There are amusing moments as well and the entire package makes for some mighty satisfying game play. Love, love this game and need a sequel...amirite!
No multilanguage support

This game has been around for years. But the developers for such a long period of existence did not bother to translate the game into several languages. It's not so difficult. There are only a few sentences of the text. But the developers still do not translate. But the developers still continue to not translate the game. Why do not you translate the game? Translate the game into different languages! Developers, do you hear me? Translate the game! Translate the game !!!
Pretty slow

I like the tongue and cheek story, and the cool art, and music. But there’s virtually no gameplay. You just walk around and click on stuff.
