My non-verbal 7 year old son loves this app! He is a fan of Super Why! But there are so many games to play on here it is worth it even if you haven't seen the show! He's done extremely well at the word games, and he even just enjoys the background music at times! The videos are super cute to watch also! And also, I love that they have a large variety of words they use and not just the same ones over and over! Def recommend this app!
Great app with a few bugs...

The app is great, getting kids to spell and read is awesome. But it does crash sometimes and I've found that the place to choose something is often to the right of the actual word or picture that you should be touching. It also seems to lock up sometimes, so you can't trace the letter. It frustrates my son that I have to restart the app to make it work again. I wish these weren't issues because this would be a 5 star app if it weren't for the bugs.
Slow paced and boring

I wish this app was more of a faster paced game. The students even said "it takes too long between each word". And it does take far too long! This isn't an app malfunction issue, it's the design of the game. This is turn makes for a boring app with boring activities. The students played for a few minutes before asking to play something else. I'm totally bummed because I bought the bundle and I had high hopes! :-/
