Thoughtless Design

I love the TV show for my kids, but this game is poorly designed. None of the mini games have any real value. The game where you trace the letters is unduly finicky, making it hard for little hands. The game where you pick the items that match a chosen letter is awful, because the items are ridiculous things that a 3 year old cannot reliably identify. The dot to dot is lame, overcrowded, and again unduly finicky. Overall, I was very disappointed. There are many better educational games out there for iPad, like Monkey Lunchbox and Tozzle. Save your money.
My girls LOVE it!

My girls are big fans of the show & this is a nice interactive app that incorporates much of what they love. They seem to be learning quite a bit from it, which is good. The Super Why ABC App had no tech issues or any glitches & we've been using it since it released. Top & Center on our iPad's app list!
Sound does not work properly

This could have born a great app. My daughter really liked it. But 2 games in the sound quit. The only sound that works now is in the video segment.
Great games, unstable sound

I keep having to reinstall this app to make the sound work. (No, it is not a muting problem, as the videos in this app still have sound.). Please fix this as my kids really enjoy the games, but there is no way to play without sound.
My Son Loves It, but...

His favorite game, with Alpha Pig, is broken. shutting the app down and restarting it doesn't fix it. Error dialog says: "Director Class - ERROR Director ERROR: Failed to execute function: 0x5859c0( params ) function on 'AlphaPig'." I'm running IOS 6 on an iPad 2.

Bought this for my autistic daughter who loves Super Why! I find myself having to delete and reinstall the app several times a day. Not worth it!

I am really upset! I should have read the reviews first. I downloaded it for my nephew and it has no sound! You can see the characters' mouths moving but no sounds come out. Therefore you don't know what to do. I want my money back. I have downloaded other apps for kids and they have all worked. This is very disappointing and I am really surprised at PBS.
