Good players are punished instead of rewarded

This game is really fun and looks great too don’t get me wrong. But my only problem is how the matchmaking is set up. I feel like they should make the matchmaking by level instead of by skill rank. Because if you do really good and get to a high skill rank they purposely put you up against people who are 2-3 levels ahead of you and later into the game leveling up takes a LOT of gold and upgrading spells so they’ll have a ton more health and damage on their spells and it honestly isn’t fun when you get one shotted by somebody’s spell and the match just started. It was to the point where I was fighting people with 1000+ more hp than me and with spells that had stupidly high amounts of damage compared to me and I was fighting people 2 whole areas ahead of me that have powerful spells I can’t even get yet. If they fix that then honestly this game will be perfect.

For the record I love this game so much it is so fun, you did an amazing job making this! But there is one thing, at a certain point raking starts to matter, you go up for winning and down for losing. Your rank changes the speed of progression you get per win, pretty normal for a ranking system. But I am at a point at which my skill rank is placing me with players I can’t compete with, and it is punishing me for losing! As I said before, progression is dependent on your rank and the constant loss is greatly impeding my progress in the game. Otherwise awesome game!
