Fun but needs an update

One of my favorite games. SCB is very addictive, fast paced, and deceptively challenging. However, the game is really old and needs to be optimized for the bigger screens of newer iPhones. Come out with an update that touches the game up for the 6 and 6+ and I'll gladly change my review to a 5 star rating.

Hi guys--this is still lots of fun on an iPad. The sound effects don't work anymore though. I know there's no money in it for you, but could you maybe just fix the sound effects, for those of us still enjoying the game?
Fun Game filled with empty promises

This is one of my favorite apps but it needs a lot more than 3 maps, 13 weapons, 5 characters, and 3 similar game modes to justify 2$. I would love there to be challenges, bosses (1 for each stage), new stages, and more weapons. All things the developer promised but never provided. Nevertheless, I'm satisfied but can see why other players wouldn't be. (last update was on 100 million crates we are now at 300 million... wow :/)

Okay, I love the concept of this game. I love the art, I love the fact that I can even have this on my laptop. Here's my problem: The controller needs to be optimized. I find myself constantly frustrated when I die after getting so close to unlocking something because the controller won't register that I've pressed the jump or the fire button. This is a huge issue that needs to be resolved. I'm still giving this game 5 stars because it's one of the first games I re-download every time I restore from iCloud. It's fun and addictive.

For the very few that they allow to view this review the game is useless dribble. Ridiculously hard. Pretty much impossible to get by 2nd level due to bad controls and crazy hard spawns combined with useless random drops of crates. You rush to get what is a crapshoot weapon usually worse than what you hold. Advancement of weapons based on total crates usually gives you a weapon you don't even want and can't control when you stinkin even get it! Lazy thoughtless programmers and a pointless non-addictive, frustrating, inane game that's not even worth the fun of wasted time.

I have been playing this game for years now and still love it. It's hard as balls which makes it all the more satisfying when you actually accomplish something. The controls are super tight. When you die, it's your fault, which is perfect. It's an honest platformer. You can only blame yourself. A refresh for bigger screens would be a welcome update that might also introduce an entirely new audience to the game. THANK YOU VLAMBEER!! You have somehow turned rage into happiness and I am forever grateful.
