Not gonna allow it to use location even when not using. Said no to that - and location error. When an app fails on install - I move on. Thanks.

The "Determining location" process takes forever so it is actually not working. Deleted it.

This app has everything you need to measure the sun, including solar noon. I love it!
Would not work on a boat

I upgraded to the pro version so I could enter latitude and longitude but without an internet connection or cell phone connection, my iPhone just froze. I was on a boat offshore wanting to calculate local apparent noon but the app said location unavailable and never let me choose a manual position. I downloaded a different calculator and it worked fine. So if you until this app can work offline completely, I will not be using it. If you are hiking or sailing in an area without cell service, you'll probably have the same problem. Developer - please fix this, I like the interface.

Currently, you have to allow this app to ALWAYS access your location, even when you're not using the app, for it to work. Seems sketchy for an app that I'll only look at every couple months. Why not implement a zip code option? Or, if you MUST use GPS, why not implement a location 'only while using the app' option?
