Good gameplay but the scoring doesn’t make sense

Really easy gameplay but I still have not figured out how the scoring actually works. I will finish a game very fast and my score will be much lower than games that took me a few minutes longer. I will even finish out the higher value numbers first and my score will be lower. It really doesn’t make any sense.

This app makes soduko a pleasant game to play at any level. I don't like the paper soduko because keeping the info on 'which spaces numbers may be placed in' is messy, and hard on the eyes. This game keeps track of my options well, highlighting all spaces with the same selected number, really helps you to verify that you have selected all possible positions for each number. Automatically cancelled number choices which are eliminated by placing numbers in other blocks is very helpful too. Wouldn't change a thing. Only issue I have is that I don't understand the multiplier and the scoring algorithm very well.

First of all, I love this game! But, there is a problem. After. I updated to the new version sometimes it will, bonk me out of the cube and some when there is no other space left to place the number, or that is the place the number can logically go. Please help!!!
