Was great, but now crashes from one ad

Prog Tom

This was my favorite Sudoku app (educational and helpful), but now crashes every time one particular ad shows up (for Battle Bots, I think?). It shows up often enough to make it nearly unplayable now.

Hints

Dr putt

Sometimes it gives hints about like “consider block 5.” It gives nothing to tell you what you should consider. Clicking more gives more obvious hint, but nothing on how to think it off.

Unusable

Just upgraded to a fifth gen iPad Mini, and this app has become unusable. It’s great when it works, but it keeps freezing. When that happens it seems to always immediately follow a change in the ad displayed, and the app often crashes after a few seconds. The only thing that still works when it freezes is the Home button, but tapping this app’s icon then returns me to the frozen state. Sad to see a great app die like this.

Best suduko app

Great app!!!! Highly recommend it - very easy to use... learning tools, hints, and many levels of difficulty make this an app that all players will enjoy!!

Even though the ads rarely bother me...

...I’m going to upgrade to the paid version. I simply want to support the developer. I’ve tried many Sudoku apps but this is by far my favorite. The hints are given in stages so I don’t have to give in completely when I’m stuck. I’m only a so-so solver but am enjoying learning more complex techniques. I love the “Only the Hard Moves” style where I can focus more on the techniques and not have such long gaps between them. I just hope that the lack of recent updates is a sign that they haven’t been needed. So far, so good. I haven’t hit any glitches. I also appreciate that the developer has created versions for a variety of platforms. Just buy it. It’s not about getting rid of the tiny ads. It’s about supporting excellent game development.

Best Sudoku out there!

I tried many forms of Sudoku apps, and settled on this one because it’s easy to use, and I have the option to enter my own puzzles. I especially love this when I mess up on ones I do from the newspaper.

Awesome app

BLOODYDAWG

If you like Sudoku, this app has puzzles from the easiest to most difficult. You won't regret getting this app.

Better than ever

Yrjaens

The few bugs that I ever experienced have been long gone. I especially like the option to play "another" at the same level, rather than having to wait 24 hours for a new puzzle. I wrote the above two years ago, and rated it 4 stars--because I never rate anything 5 stars. I’ve nowviolated my own rule. This is one of very few apps--if not the one and only--that I am absolutely pleased with.
