Expert puzzle solutions make use of X-Y chains, which requires you to try a solution until you reach a contradiction. This is essentially guessing, and the purist puzzle master never prepares a puzzle requiring you to guess. Superior puzzles are available through the sudoku.com app. Their expert puzzles are the most brutal I’ve seen that are always solvable through deductive analysis.

Fun app. Easy to use. Good puzzle selection. If I may make a suggestion, under the option to highlight the same numbers selected, it would be nice if the pencil ones were also highlighted.

Good game, but why must I endure a pitch for Trump between each game. Get rid of those annoying ads.

This game gives you a limited amount of errors before it tells you that you’ve “lost the game,” and have to either watch an add to continue playing or start a completely new game. I’m playing sudoku, not mario. Why do I have a limited amount of mistakes? The point of the game is to be puzzled by the numbers, not have to start a fresh game every time you make up to 3 mistakes. Immediately deleted and downloaded a better version.

So the game has a timer and even records your best time. No big deal and most games do this, but most games don’t start the game time while forcing you to watch an 8 second ad. The game timer should not start until after the ad.
Too many ads

Too many ads in between can’t avoid interrupting the games. I am looking for another app for soduko...then will delete this one.
