Sudo puts Sudoku front and center. The puzzle fills the entire screen and the numbers are large enough to see from a distance. The text is crystal clear and looks especially crisp on retina displays. During gameplay, the puzzle board is never covered by menus or gimmicky animations.
GESTURES AND TAPS IMPROVE GAMEPLAY
Sudo uses gestures and taps to cut down on visual clutter and speed up gameplay. To start a new puzzle, simply swipe to turn the page. If there's only one possibility left for a square, double-tap it to set it as the answer. When a number is completed on the board, its button is disabled to prevent accidental taps.

By far the best sudoku app on the market. The description says it all, simplicity and elegance yet still packed with the most useful features. I've gone through my fair share of sudoku apps and this one wins hands down in beauty and game play. I've only installed this app this morning and already I'm hooked. I didn't realize how much more there was to solving a sudoku puzzle than just the couple basic rules. The auto pencil and hints system are extremely helpful and easy to understand and learn from. Double-tapping to fill in obvious answers is amazing when you're fighting that clock. The difficulty levels transition smoothly from one to the next when you're really stepping up your game. I'd recommend this app to anyone who really cares about beautiful design and who also wants to improve their sudoku or just logical thinking skillz!
