Do you get distracted easily? Do you find yourself procrastinating on your phone when you should be looking at your books? StudyBreak helps you overcome both these problems!

StudyBreak exists to help you improve your studying by cutting out distractions. It's simple: you choose the studyBreak ratio you want, start the timer and put your phone down. If you pick up your phone before your study period is over, you get an alert telling you to get back to work. When you've studied the set amount of time, you get an alert letting you know it's time to take a break. That means it's also great for those who study too long and forget to take breaks at regular intervals.

StudyBreak automatically tracks your study-break intervals so you don't have to. Maybe you want to work for longer than the set time? Or cut one of your breaks short? Just hit the timer button and StudyBreak will tally the extra break time so you can take a longer break later.

Extra features include:

- Background Mode. App works just as well in the background, so all you have to think about is getting work done.

- Siri Support. You can start a study session without pressing a single button.

- Today Widget. Start or stop study sessions right from your lock screen.

- Apple Watch App. If you have an Apple Watch, the Watch app is a great companion because it means you can use the app and only touch your phone when you're on a break.

- Stats page to keep track of how efficiently you study and how many hours you study daily

- Colourful timers indicating how efficient your study time is. Green if you meet your goals & red if you don't.

PREMIUM FEATURES:

- Reminders. Set alarms to remind you when to start studying or to let you know if you won't complete your study goals for the day by a given time.

- Export data. Export your data as a csv file so you can graph it or statistically analyse it, in order to get the best out of your study time

Go on, allow studyBreak to help you stay focused and better achieve your study goals!

**Please note that this app contains In App Purchases, including three auto-renewing subscriptions of various lengths; monthly ($0.49), quarterly ($0.99) and annual ($1.49). Each subscription offers the following features for its entire duration:

- Unlimited notifications
- No ads
- Study reminders
- Full access to all statistics

As with all auto-renewing subscriptions, subscription will continue to automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Payment is charged to iTunes Account at the confirmation of purchase and charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.

Additionally, there is a one off purchase option that provides unlimited access to all the above features indefinitely. Also note that any purchase will remove ads indefinitely, even if it is a subscription that consequently expires.

Great app- but slowly became worse
Da Snowman (my usual username)

I love this app- worked wonderfully and really helped me focus. But after using it for about two weeks, the timer instead of starting at zero and counting upward, started at 45 min. and counted downward. Not only that, but now it doesn’t even record my subject studying time correctly. I really want to continue using this but at this point it’s getting inefficient.

Great Concept, but Flawed

I came across this app and knew I needed to have it right away. It is exactly what I have been looking for since I started taking classes again, however after purchasing the app I noticed some issues that are making the information inaccurate. The subject times are listed incorrectly. It lists a subject I didn’t even study and the wrong total study time on the other subject. The hours listing the subjects in the bar graph area are incorrect and do not correlate with the time. It also lists me as studying on days I didn’t list I would be able to study which throws off my all time averages. I emailed the developer and I am hoping for a response but don’t have much hope given that app hasn’t been updated in months.

So helpful!!

I love this app!! Only problem I’ve noticed is that sometimes the stopwatch gets changed for the countdown. For ex apple when I’m on break it’ll be counting up from zero and while studying it’ll be counting down from like 45mins. It used to be the other way around and it was clearer. That’s just my opinion though. Other than that this app is amazing.

Great app

Currently using this app to track my studying while in medical school and loving it! Only thing is there seems to be an issue with some of the statistics(shows thousands of hours studied in the subject section)

Great app, need bugs fixed
Rjwein

I use StudyBreak pretty much religiously. However, I’ve noticed a variety of bugs all through the app.. from the break length not matching the amount studied to the amount studied not matching the statistics given.

Great

Everything's doing great. But bugs about break time and learning time

Bug on Timer
marie74138

In the past I’ve enjoyed this app, but now whenever I try to study the timer isn’t counting up (or even down) it’s counting down from 11:46PM and quickly down to other hours in a matter of seconds. I haven’t changed any settings. Please fix this!

Help on how to set less hours of study plz ?
kuki133

I love this app and even purchased the premium and I rarely do that with apps , but I really wish I could set less than 4 hours of study. Sometimes I could study 2 hours a day but the app thinks I’m procrastinating because I’m not finishing the 4 hour study ?so how do you set less hours ? I hope you reply

Notifications could be better
Sarah loves lollipops

It’s a great app. I have ADHD and this app has really helped. But I wish it would send me notifications when I was on break for quite a while, not when I’m studying.
