• Your final study score for your VCE subjects.
• Your required exam score for a desired study store.

Simply choose your subject, enter the score (%) you got for each of your graded assessments and what you predict to get in the exam, and the app will calculate the range your study score is most likely to fall between. Alternatively, input the study score you hope you get and the app will calculate what you need on the exam to get that score!

Your Graded Assessments (GA) vary from subject to subject, and the best way to figure out your percentage is to average your results for that GA, or to ask your teacher.

This application currently supports all VCE subjects using grade distribution data from 2017.

-----------------------------------

HOW DOES IT WORK?

The algorithm follows the normal distribution calculations used to calculate your actual study score. We use last year's data so the end result is as accurate as possible. Please remember however that this is last years data, and the scaling changes with each cohort - so this is to be used as a guide only.

This app takes weighting into account, based on statistical averages of students across the state. As we cannot determine your ranking in your class for THIS YEAR actual results will of course vary. We wanted to make a calculator that covered all VCE subjects, and to do this had to scrape over 8,000 individual data points.

Happy studying!

DISCLAIMER (FROM VCAA):
The VCAA does not support or endorse the development and use of study score calculators as they can lead to erroneous conclusions and frustration for individual students. The assessment results for one year should not be used in any way to predict results for students in subsequent years. Each year’s assessments results, both for school based and external (Examinations), will vary due to different assessments being used and different populations of students participating in the assessment.
