App crashing

When i try to add a new event the app would crash and return me to my home screen. Ive already purchased the app but its useless new because it wont let me add new things. They need to look into this issue

I don't like apps with ad bars displaying on the bottom so I'm not sure if I gave it a full chance . Maybe pay version would be nice . But it just seemed a bit typical and nothing really stood out to me as better.
