What a handy little app! Very clever. And not only can I get precise RPM readings, I can entertain little kids with science by stopping ceiling fans and such. Thank you!

It does just what I wanted: it lets me choose any whole number of Hz or RPM (up to my phone's limit) to flash the strobe at. And the frequency is easy to dial up and down.

This app got me out of a pinch setting rpm on a Diesel engine! Once you figure out how to use it , it's super easy!
Don't bother with free version

No useful functionality in free version. Must buy full version to use camera or flashlight for tachometer.

Don't bother. Waste of time. Does not work as tachometer unless you buy the "flashlight" feature. Explicit, unadulterated non sense.
