Well, let's see...

Yep I know

I really HATE not being able to see the picture thru "any type of view finder"!! It's like blind & taking pictures. You don't know it the subject is even in view!! It diffently a 50/50 change of getting the shot. So at this point you get 2 stars because there is "NO PREVIEW" even if it says so before taking the picture.!! I don't understand the concept of that...but to each their own. Hopefullly, yod'll decide to have one. Also the pics go straight to your cameral roll, again BEFORE BEING SEEN!. And it seems that anything be .end up with a watermark for anything in colour!! So you HAVE TO BUY "IN APP PREMI..." to see or understand the rest. As of now I don't think I'm going to go that route & BUY the IN APP...since "NOT SEEING"!! Someone else more adventuresome & carefree to be the one to go down that road & let the rest of us know. Thanks for the app but on the update please include a small or partial step by step. Thanks for all so far!

Too many crashes, not enough photos

Beat419

I love this app. But I'd love it more if it didn't crash on me. I'd probably add more love if it SAVED the photos. The vignettes - T1 through 3 on high res - doesn't work-- the app will crash. T1 on low res does the same thing. The lack of care in updating this app and taking customers' concerns into consideration shows lack of concern and really no purpose, rhyme, or reason for this app to even exist. Why develop it if consistency doesn't exist. This has a lot of potential. Hi contrast B&W is my absolute fav, it's killer! But I can only use 1 setting or else it will crash. Not having a view finder is the best part. Luck and chance is all the thrill in photography. Please read your reviews and provide updates-- especially for those who've given you $ for in-app purchases (for features that don't even work)

Tried rating lower than one star!!

Oh well! It said free so I downloaded it and told me to upgrade. So it's really not free! Totally misleading. And no developer email! Uninstalled faster than Britney Shpears lost her mind!!!!! Awful!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was asked to upgrade as well

Hi, I thought your App was free? I deleted it.

Not completely useless...

...but as close to useless as you can get.

Absolutely misleading

In order to get the full capability of the app you have to buy the upgrade. That's silly. You don't know if your buying crap add-ons. What the seller should have done was provide the entire app (including the upgrade) for free until 2/14. Let the users who got it for free try out the full capability of the app and if it's good it can drive good reviews and future buyers. Otherwise this is a deceiving tactic. I deleted mine and put this seller on my don't buy list.

Not really free

Robeschi

Many features disabled. Not even worth a free download.

Nofinder not bad, needs some QC

This is an artistic app with a great idea at its core. I downloaded for the Feb 14 special and received the basic entree of features. Fortunately there is an option to test out the upgrade features to see if its worth it. Did a few test shots at home and saw that sometimes there is a delay for processing - this may account for missed shots. As a previous reviewer mentioned using the toy filters does crash the program. I hope the developer can resolve that.

best photo app - ever

nnnin

really; i've downloaded and used a plethora of photo apps. nofinder is hands down the best "shooting" (vs editing/post) app i've tried on the iphone. just try the "hard" black & white setting. i've never seen another iphone app that imitates real film before. been using and abusing this app for months now -- 2/3rds of my iphone pics are probably taken with this app. it won't give you flashy filters; there are a million apps that do that. just try the black and white ("hard"), and you'll never go back.

Not for everybody

Yes, it's true: there is no viewfinder. That's why it's called "Nofinder." You just shoot from the hip, and then looks for the accidental gems afterwards. It's a buck to buy and another buck for additional lenses and filters. The lenses and filters that come with it are plenty good. Try those and if you like it, spend the extra buck. I recommend it, especially if you want to take candid photos or street photography. That's where it's true purpose shines through.
