This is my childhood I love this game so so so much And I will probably play this for a long time❤️❤️❤️❤️

I’m upset that I bought everything in the game in 2020 and then the game was entirely changed so that all the money I spent disappeared, it’s really amazing how this game made me angry in less than 10 minutes of trying to play. I see this game in a terrible light now just because of the money I spent disappearing because of an update the game would have been better in my opinion if it stayed the same since nostalgia no longer exists in my eyes while I play this game now.

We bought the full game quite a while ago for our daughter. She loved it, so we bought all of the possible deserts so she would have plenty to do. Now the game has changed to a subscription model, so she’s limited to just a few options unless we want to subscribe for a monthly fee that, quite frankly, seems way too steep for such a basic game. We’re quite unhappy with the change. We’ve tried restoring purchases as some other reviewers were advised to do, but the items she used to have access to are still locked so that she has to ‘earn’ them through play through. This seems ridiculous and unfair, since not too long ago she could use them and now she just suddenly can’t. We’re subscribed to the Barbie Dreamhouse game from the same developer because she also loved that one and it was the only option for purchase at the time we found it, but I refuse to pay for a second monthly subscription for a children’s game. It made sense to subscribe to Barbie because there’s tons of dolls and things, but the Bake Shop game is much simpler and we already paid full price to unlock everything. It would be totally ridiculous to subscribe to it to earn back things that used to be included like the electric mixer.

I purchased this for my child a few months ago. And now with the Star Baker elements added, the purchase I made to bake all the treats, use all the fun pantry items and variety of tools are now gone. We loved the game. Now my kid can’t play without getting upset. Paying $4.99 a month for a game I already purchased is ridiculous. Anyone who purchased the game in full should get the star baker elements included and the subscription should be for new downloads only. Truly disappointed.

This game is fun but I wish that strawberry shortcake would not talk so much because it is kinda sorta annoying, and the last thing is I wish that you did not have to join the star club so you could just do all of the deserts! And when ever I’m not done buttering the pan or eating the cake, it will always finish it for me! And I know I said that was the las but.....this secretly is lol anyway the last thing is I wish that you could design the character, building, and I wish that you could make your own cake and not follow the recipe. Please please please! Make those changes and I will absolutely LOVE the game! Bye hope you read this message! ?????‍♀️?? P.S. I am nine years old and don’t make fun of me because I am playing a little kid game! ??

I loved this game so much it’s been a while since I got it and I just downloaded it but before I pay $7 dollars for it my dad is gonna do some resources There is a few changes I did not notice there is more desserts and you rewards and plus you start a free 7 day trial But other than that I do like it My dad play it two times and plus I like how its done I just love the characters Strawberry Shortcake Raspberry Torte Blueberry Muffin Orange blossom Huckleberry pie Cherry jam I just love them all

As others noted, we paid for this app in full before it was turned into a subscription and now all of our purchases are lost. Restore purchases has no result. Overall the update is obnoxious, forcing game play to be tedious and trying to wring a subscriptions out of everyone. We’ve paid for several games from Budge, but never again.
