They should not even offer partial (4.99) purchases. Pay for one set of ingredients, then you find recipes require other ingredients you have not purchased in order to get Stars for filling orders. Once you buy one or two then you realize you needed to buy the full (14.99) in order to actually be able to utilize the app. So instead of $14.99, you've spent almost $25 for a 5 year old to play this game. Scam.

Downloaded many games in our family, over the years. This one sits as the top of the greedy list. Thereare better things to do with that money. Do nit encourage greed. Not worth it.
Pathetic excuse for a game.

All you get is one measly level to play, and even then you can't finish it because it only gives you two free items in the first order. For the other stuff to complete the first order you have to pay $14.99, and who knows what else! This frustrates my 3year old that she can't do anything but make a blandly set orange cake.

Unless you pay $15 there is very limited playing. My toddler gets very frustrated play this game because it constantly takes her to the "pay $14.99" page. Deleting now

This is the best game I have ever played but why would it only have two levels to play !?? Nobody is paying all that money for the extras! Imma guy and I love playing this game!

I downloaded several of the Budge Studios Strawberry Shortcake apps for my daughter. It's cute and has potential, but the cost of unlocking the rest of the app's features is ridiculous. Just to unlock all the desserts, it's $15--that's right, just the desserts. That doesn't include the other kitchen tools (another $5), which the app frequently prompts you to buy while you're playing. And I'm assuming it also doesn't include the additional colors, sprinkles, toys, etc. If you want the full app, it costs $20. You read that correctly: TWENTY DOLLARS. And the same applies to all the Budge Studios Strawberry Shortcake apps. I'd be willing to spend $3 on this app--total. Not $20. So if you want an app that comes with very few options and is constantly prompting you to spend money, this is the one for you!
