Fun but broken purchase structure.

Good game very fun to play on long car rides or at home.but it's almost impossible to unlock all nations in pack 1.so I was just going to buy it but it wants ten bucks!. Even though I only need the last country!. Why can't I just pay two or three dollars?i would be happy to spend ten and unlock everything.but not for a single country please fix

The game is decent enough if you like turn based strategy games. It's a little slow with the movement controls but one of the better tablet games I've found. I do hate everything with in app purchases and refuse to pay for them. Not sure how long I'll get to go until I'm forced to quit. It was free so far so I'm happy with that.
In-app purchases make this "five" a "three"

Great game, loads of fun, but I'm annoyed by in-app purchases, especially AFTER I've paid for the game.

This could be a very good game if: 1. The online play actually worked. 2. The unit capabilities were defined with in-play menus 3. The battles were more accurate and not tilted toward the AI to encourage pay-to-play upgrades. (Some of the campaigns pit you at 2:1 ratio with AI which besides historical inaccuracies are impossible without plunking in quarters to bolster your forces.) 4. It needs updating. It hasn't been updated in almost a year.

Playing the lite version. No gameplay issues, everything works, good looking game. My problem is the combat model. I had to read a walkthrough to get past the second mission. Not a lot of strategy required. Build big stacks, keep attacking, and surround the enemy. Too simple for more than a few sessions. Battles go back and forth until you gain more troops than your opponent.
