* Camera operators can use this to monitor when they are on air without risk of accidentally making a switch change.

* Strata View connects directly to your ATEM switcher via Wifi and your switcher's network connection. It does not require a separate computer.

* Strata View allows display of the status of your ATEM switcher program and preview busses.

NOTE: If you require *control* of your ATEM switcher, you should select Strata Lite or Strata Pro from the App Store instead of Strata View. Strata requires iOS 5.1.1 or later and ATEM firmware version 3.4, thru 7.01 Firmware.

IMPORTANT: The control protocol uses UDP and is fairly intolerant to packet loss and network latency. It is very important to have a reliable, responsive WIFI network for Strata to work reliably. Wifi router performance varies between vendors, and best results have been shown with Apple Airport wifi routers. Some 3rd party routers have shown to be unreliable due to latency or UDP packet loss. What wireless router do you recommend with this app. Our ATEM switcher would lose lock now and then and we had to reconnect to the switcher a couple time during the show. Still five you 5 stars cause I'm sure it might be just the brand wireless router we are using. Or maybe some kind of code written to check if it is still connected to the switcher I don't know I'm not a programmer!!!!

Running BMD software 5.1 with Just Macros running, IPad with 7.1, ATEM 2ME. Does not read the inputs. iPad is connecting with MetaControl (although it does not work correctly), so I know the switcher can connect to the iPad. I would like to get the pro version capabilities, but can't drop the fifty if this does not work....

I am a camera man for my church. I recently did a special Christmas musical. We had no comm for the camera team so this app saved us! Amazing work! I did lose connection twice, however it was quick and easy to re-connect!
