Strange Telephone is a point and click adventure game depicted using pixel art style graphics offering multiple endings.

Jill -- the young protagonist -- wakes up in an unknown, dark and eerie place with only exit locked down by an intimidating door.

Looks like poor Jill is trapped in this place forever.
But wait! This is where her friend Graham who takes shape of a classic telephone comes to the rescue.

Jill can use Graham's dialpad to call up a vast variety of worlds for her to explore.
Your objective is to collect items scattered through the different worlds and use them to solve puzzles and ultimately obtain the key for your escape.

Visit different worlds to collect items and modify the world to your advantage. Start by simply making a phone call.

Each phone number will uniquely define the generated world. Dialing the same number will take you to the same world every time. Feel free to share the numbers among your friends by means of your choice. (You will have to do this outside of the app)

Basic controls
- Tap an object to approach and inspect.
- "Call" button will bring up the calling interface. Dial any combination to generate a world to explore.

Beautiful lightweight game

I love everything about this game. It runs so smooth, takes almost no time to load. Love the idea that you can share numbers with friends. Definitely worth the buy

A very strange point and click
Vanillamage

A randomly generated point and click is unusual, though this game makes it quite a fun experience! Exploring the worlds are quite fun. It's a bit short though I think it's worth it if you like the tone of games like yume nikki. There are multiple endings but i've only managed to get three of them so far. Good pixelart and music, definitely worth dropping some cash on.

Interesting concept

I took a chance on this game. It had no reviews or ratings at the time. Essentially, you enter random phone numbers that transport the player to different rooms looking for objects and clues to help escape. Beyond that, it plays like a point-and-click adventure game. You’re encouraged by the developer to share numbers with other players. But, I feel like that may lead to unsatisfying spoilers (don’t know). On the other hand, the alternative is to just get lucky calling random numbers. So far, that’s what I’ve been doing with *some* success. It’s a cool idea, but it’s difficult for me to see if this game mechanic is ultimately going to be endearing or not. Ultimately, I like how unique the game is. But, given the sheer number of permutations, a lot of rooms feel empty and useless. Progress feels random; without outside help, that’s what it largely is.

Weird Gem

I keep coming back to this strange little game. Essentially you type in 6 numbers (some special characters permitted) and you are transported to a unique world. The worlds are each a bit like a room in an adventure game, and they’re very trippy, packed with things like monoliths that say “Lick lick lick” when you examine them. Also, there are space bunnies. Loads of space bunnies. Obviously with a million+ worlds the creator wants fans to collaborate although I haven’t sought out the community (if one ever popped up) yet. But even solo it’s a must to keep a list of all the numbers you’ve visited and what’s there; for instance if there’s a fire you can come back once you get a watering can and put it out, etc... Strange Telephone is half soothing, half creepy and all weird; for me, it’s been enough to warrant coming back to play for weeks!
