To my surprise, I opened Storm Shield this afternoon and it failed to pick up our active cell on radar. Smaller cells were shown to the northeast but it completely missed the larger one overhead (which had been building for over an hour) and for which Storm Shield had released an alert. Supposedly the radar data was updated 4 minutes prior. My search for a weather app continues...

But I would like to turn them off so that I don’t get them in the middle of the night.

Tracking weather during vacation drives has saved me from potentially dangerous situations avoiding storms and heat indices.

The weather alerts give me warning when I’m not anticipating any threat related to weather. The early warnings are such that it gives me ample time to cross check other valuable weather data.

It’s ok but to actual make it a worthwhile app you have to make all the in app purchases. This used to be a great app.

Proud to b able to have a phone that I can get the app. It is a safety issue.

Update 7/4/18: Why did I pay $5 for this app and now it’s free to everyone but I’m expected to pay a monthly fee to access all features?! Seems unethical.
