I just updated Storm Radar with the latest update and am now fully convinced to uninstall it. The latest update has placed 4 buttons that cover the radar screen view. The only purpose of these buttons is to upgrade to the pay version. These 4 buttons along with other 2 floating windows cover up too much of the radar screen. Add to this that whenever i open the app, the radar screen usually shows no rain or snow until i jiggle the screen to get it to refresh. I used to like Storm several years ago, but Storm Radar is just not worth the aggravation. There has go be a better weather app out there.

Remember when this application used to be hands down the best detailed weather tracking application one could have a smart phone? Remember when you could track an individual storm’s direction, wind velocity, cloud Atlas, windshear, and other detailed information so as to predict the storms severity relative to your specific location? And, Remember when it was completely free? I don’t mean this basic unintelligible version that exists now,... that you’re forced to get whenever you buy a new phone, or because they shut down support for the previous version. And to the developers… Don’t patronize us with the fact that you charge a subscription to provide a more intuitive ad free experience. We had that already that (ad banners were minuscule at most) and you decided since you bought the rights you could take that away from us. I realize that legally yet immorally, you can. But you didn’t even make the app better, you made it completely and appallingly worse. We prefer the original app. Give it back!

This used to be my favorite app for tracking storms. As a Texas Panhandle girl regular radar was not going to cut it. I wanted to be able to track the intensity of the storm, lightning, if their was hail, tornado signatures and especially tornados themselves. I could do all of that FOR FREE with this app. After the latest update I am required to pay a subscription fee to access these things. If they’re going to want money I wish they would provide a one time fee to permanent unlock the premium features that used to just be standard.

This app recent went through an update that removed once standard features and made them a paid upgrade. Lightning strikes, storm trackers and the other features on the toolbar are now $3.99/month. Ridiculous.

I guess because I chose not to upgrade to premium I don’t get to see the weather at all. The last couple of times I’ve gone to the app all I get are dashes where information should be. My saved locations were gone so I entered them again to see if that would help, no. I refuse to put an app (that I can get the same information else where for free)on the payroll. I’m only willing to make a one time payment.

In recent months this app on my iPad is unstable. It disappears. I send notifications. Eventually it reappears.......lasts for a week or so......then disappears again. I have an annual premium subscription but the instability is not acceptable, no the resolution effort. I need the app; I am a weather spotter. I may give up. The app works fine on my iPhone. Very disappointing.

TWC removed the BEST weather app STORM. They CONTINUE to post FAKE 5 star ratings for BROKEN “storm-radar”. Only fix: BRING BACK THE ORIGINAL STORM APP!

I was looking for a NOAA app for Apple couldn’t find the right one. This Radar App is great & they have an area to find the Forecast locally. If you’re running Apple I definitely recommend this App you will not regret it!

This use to be an awesome radar. I have used it for years. Now everything we used to get you have to upgrade to premium and pay for a service. I now will be deleting this app.

This app needs to go back to the original developers. Ever since TWC took it over it's been steadily going downhill.
