I was hesitant to pay for an app but this one is definitely worth it. Very easy to use and I am glad because I have been thinking about recording my stories and life lessons for my niece and nephew but I never would have started without this app. Thank you stories etc

My favorite aspect of StoriesEtc is the 10/10 functionality that helps me build my life story by asking thoughtful questions and making it very easy to upload my answer through talk, text, or video.

I'm a pretty good story teller, some would even categorize me as "colorful." I was skeptical that any app could make what comes naturally to me, even easier. I was wrong...Stories Etc. jogs my memory and now I have more stories to tell. There are questions in the app that really bring back a lot of memories...memories I want to share, but would have forgotten otherwise. Plus, I can tell my stories in ways I haven't ever thought of before. I usually write my stories the old fashioned way, with two thumbs on my iPhone, but now, I can tell my stories with my voice, or a video. The voice part is really handy when I am stuck in traffic, and a story pops into my head. This app is great!

This is EXACTLY what I have been looking for. This app provides a wonderfully easy means of documenting ideas, philosophies, family history, advice, etc. It's perfect for everyone: grandparents, parents, teachers and writers. I envision it also being used as a diary or for journaling and love the fact that the privacy of the information is maintained. Fantastic product!

Finally! This app is just what the Dr. ordered, literally. I use this with my Mother and we love it. Listening to her stories is a happy adventure. The questions prompt conversation, the screens are clear and easy to use. Stories etc. is great idea that is well executed. Enjoy!

Intersection of real life and technology, a must have app

I heard about this app after hearing an interview with the founder on NPR. I started with open expectations, and after spending some time with the app I am thoroughly impressed. The design is smooth and aesthetic with intuitive menus and easy to access functionality. The story capturing function is both versatile and quick so there is no "wait, let me tee up this app" feel. The concept is novel and delivers the ability to memorialize the stories of family, friends, or interesting strangers. My memory of my grandfather's stories is fading and I would kill to have had this app 5 years ago. With so many apps that make life easier or more ephemeral, this app lets us hold on to something truly valuable and important. If you start capturing stories now (your phone is always in your pocket), think of the incredible collection you could have in one year. Or twenty years.
