Pretty good, but could be much better.

iChrigel

It has a lot of potential but the layout needs to provide more information. In Schieber who won the last Stich, what was the last Stich and so on. In landscape you don't see what's Trumpf and there is no real time counting. Take a look at the the iapp Jass and check out the layout of the display. Much better. Why are the black Trumpf not in color? Even tough the Wyss option is off it still counts it automatically. Please make it better. It could be the best thing next to a real round of jassen.

an interesting game

Readingaloud

Jass is game (or, more exactly, a family of games) using a distinctive 36-card deck. It is very popular in Switzerland, but not played much elsewhere, which is a shame. Jass is quite an interesting and challenging game, somewhat along the lines of euchre, but with a good deal more depth and variety. This version provides a decent implementation of some of the most popular variations, with enough flexibility to come close to whatever local rules you're accustomed to playing. The AI players are not outstanding, but they're good enough to make the game interesting for human players of ordinary skill. It would be a service to the rest of the world if the program included an English-language interface and a basic tutorial to introduce newcomers to the game.

Not perfect but amazingly close!!!

I'm All In

For those of us who do not have playing partners living near by, this is the next best thing to play a quick game or two without having to have internet access. The degree of sophistication of programing such rather high level of playing is astounding. Would like to see the indication of 7x and 8x in the Coiffeur Jass beyond the few seconds it currently displays, and let the first Stich lay on the table longer in order to absorb info such as a Wyss better. In some regions in CH, one can review the first Stich again once the second has been played - would be a nice option. All in all, a great game so far. Now, if I just could ask my partner to get me a beer from the fridge...

Oy, oy, oy.

Pixelated artwork and quits on suspend: this app hasn't received any love in a long, long time.

Disaster

Hanky-Panky

Not worth the money. Partner has no clue of the game and opponents always play with matching decks. If you guys can't do an app that works with randomly distributed cards and the same AI for your partner and the opponents you should not make a claim this game imitates Jassen, because it's doesn't. A lot of frustration for a lot of money.
