I've tried a bunch of apps for this, but none of them do as well for what I need as Stitch It. I love it and I will keep it forever!
Does what it says, years of stability

I love this app. I use it every time I need an screenshot of a large scrolling view. I wish, with ios11 that they provided a share extension to receive my series of screenshots, this way, the original uncut shots would get thrown away automatically and I would have only the stitched version saved.
Paid app suddenly stopped working

Pretty sure I had already already paid for this app and now it’s asking me to pay for it again, it to mention that it won’t let me access my photos because it says its needs for me to grant permission in settings, but there’s no option in settings to grant permission to access photos.
Crashing makes it worthless.

I have used this app for a while. It’s simple, and it has done what I needed to do. I paid to get rid of the watermark and ads. Recently it started crashing whenever I try to add photos to it. And then it stopped for a couple of days. And now it’s back to crashing. I opened it half a dozen times this morning, and every time I try to add pictures it crashes. I tried to send a message to the company, through the app, but it will not allow me to send.
Seems to export in .jpeg instead of the original .png

This seems to be the best option for screenshot stitching as of now, but I would prefer to be able to export to .PNG. Not only does this avoid unsightly artifacts surrounding text or high-contrast areas, but the .PNG file sizes would frequently be smaller for these types of images.

2 stars because it does stitch it together well, but the quality of the picture decreases with each stitch and you can barely read it.

Tried this and frankly it's so manual I couldn't get the screen shots to join. Found another app which is completely automated and it joins perfectly and I don't have to manually move lines.
