It's great. Everything about this is simple, minimalist. I wish you could add more avatars. And you could also add a different kind of separation or notebooks. Example: for those who have a dream journal while a journal of ideas (and don't want them mixed).

Update: It's been 1 year and 800+ notes to myself. This is the best. Simple and not cluttered with nonsense. Definitely try it out & donate! And I'm usually a skeptic. I have been using Stenosaur for six months now, for notes on various projects as well as for health and fitness logs, each with their own avatars. It is incredibly useful, fun, and easy to personalize. Highly recommended for a variety of uses! Best wishes to the the developers' ongoing success. I hope stenosaur will be around for a very long time.

The sample pictures gave me the impression that this app was going to be a bit childish what with the Adventure Time and Pony icons but turns out you make your own icons! So don't be fooled! This app is great! If you're the kind of person who likes writing down EVERYTHING and having it all available together this app will become your best friend. After searching long and hard for a useful simple ad-free journaling app, I found this one and have been using it loyally for about a month. It has replaced my actual journal for the time being because i can easily save ALL or just a month of my entires in a document or as a PDF or I can just save one or some of them into Notes to use easily later. It is all SO USEFUL. WHY DID I NOT FIND YOU SOONER. It being stream of conscious based also makes it a REAL journaling app, and also a useful creative free writing app. I use this app many times a day and it is useful for casual journalling, creative writing, and also poetry or jotting down notes or quotes or whatever the heck you want! It's also slightly therapeutic reading back on entires and not being able to change them. You can delete entires but I feel like it's cheating, so I pretend that feature doesn't exist. ? The customizable icons are useful for organizing the entires for when you're reading back or saving them. They also add some of your personality to the app. All in all, great app! Love it! Thank you! I'll stop blabbering now! ❤️

I set a passcode (4-digit PIN), but now when I open the app no number pad comes up, so I can t use it at all— stuck on the lock screen. Please fix this so I can continue using this great app!

I put this on my task bar at the bottom of my iPhone & iPad screens, just to keep it handy. I find that I use it daily, and love it. If I need to, I can copy and paste notes into other folders later. I use it for everything from recipes, ideas, grocery lists, to poetry. Easy to use and easy to clean up. Love it.

Great! Just one thing...

U is for uranium...BOMBS!

Some of my older notes are starting to disappear (I started using Stenosaur about 2 months ago). I use this app for keeping track of writing inspiration when it strikes, so this is a bit of a problem. But when I backed them up (e.g., to Notes), all my entries, including the deleted ones, were there. I'm not sure if the disappearing is a glitch or a way to keep it cleaner, but I'm otherwise in love with Stenosaur
