Steamalot: Epoch's Journey is set in the medieval period where the development of steampunk technology has begun earlier than the traditional Victorian setting indicates. Instead of magic the populous is amazed with new intricate clockwork and steam technology. Merlin is a gifted engineer and friend to the King. Patric (the player) is Merlin's young apprentice who must help him determine the root cause behind rising disturbances in the kingdom.
Fun mashup of tactics and deck building in a old school art style.
This game is a real challenge but fun and addictive at the same time. You really have to use strategy to get to the next level and I just can't put it down!
Hey devs. It was a pleasure meeting some of you at phx Comicon yesterday. I just wanted to say I'm enjoying the game so far and wanted to point out a dead end I found in the tutorial. When told to equip Patric with the Pitchfork and Jerkin cards out of my hand I inadvertently went to the skill screen and selected the pass skill instead. It locked up the game and I was able to reproduce the problem a couple of times. I thought I would point that out just in case some other dim witted people like myself do the same. Enjoying the game otherwise so far, keep up the good work!
Found this game at PAX East this year. It was super fun, and is one of the indie games I walked away knowing I was buying it when I got home. Try it for free, but definitely recommend a full purchase!
I love tactics and I love cards. This game is the happy little love child of both.
This is a great game to continuously play. Looking forward to more pvp players
