This game needs no HD graphics or something like that to be addictive, puzzling and real tough to play! Totally recommended!! :D
Best TD on the Market

I possess every imaginable TD in existence and appreciate quite a few of them but no other TD has taken the genre successfully to this level of depth. It is a hard game but any TD addict will tell you that is a prerequisite. So many developers focus on lush graphics and HD effects and forget that gameplay is what players play for. Take a look at a list of the top video games of all time and you'll find Tecmo Bowl #1 on many lists. Graphics circa 1986 or so but gameplay and stats galore. Staunch Defense is the Tecmo Bowl of TD games. Finish it on hard mode and like me, I'm sure you'll be singing it's praises. I doubt that the developer will make a boatload on this game but the concept blows the others away.

The Quackmaster
In a world with hundreds of tower defense clones, Staunch Defense takes it to the next level. It's like other tower defense games at its core, but quickly differentiates itself with a heavy emphasis on tactics and strategy. It's truly the thinking man's tower defense. With classic graphics, several maps, and truly fun gameplay, there's no reason not to buy this app.

This is my favorite tower defense app so far on the iphone. Between research, different towers, village upgrades, and resource collection, there are dozens of ways to strengthen your defenses against the hordes. Also my 4-year-old's favorite, so fun for all ages.
Well worth the price tag.

TD veterans will love it! Very challenging, but rewarding. New players shouldn't have any problems, as the tutorials are easy to understand. I can't recommend this more.

Favorite td game!
I got this game a long time ago and it still hasn't gotten old . Also I think a survival/endless mode would be a very good add on
