Save the galaxy from the sith, or crush the republic and rule it yourself

I personally never played the original release back in 2003 so I can't compare this port, having said that this game works amazingly well for something that was meant for console and pc. Great story, controls and over all feel, graphics take a little getting used to but does take away from the experience.

Perfect emulation of an amazing game!

Bo2 lover

This game is incredible. Took me 20 minutes or so to really get a handle on the touch controls, but once I did the game ran more smoothly than it did on console! Please make Kotor 2 for mobile!!!!!

Broken mission on first planet.

Tonsilsdeep

You start on taris and about 3-4 hours in you get a main story mission from gaden thek to steal back an accelerator for a swoop bike. Once you get this accelerator and try to turn the mission in you can no longer talk to gaden thek. In fact you can't talk to anyone. Can't speak to group members or merchants. Which makes it unable to progress in the game. Completely broken! I've tried twice after deleting my first try and same thing happens.

A legendary game deserves a legendary review

Shiro Kusanagi

"Four thousand years before the rise of the Galactic Empire, the Republic verges on collapse. DARTH MALAK, last surviving apprentice of the DARK LORD REVAN, has unleashed an invincible Sith armada upon an unsuspecting galaxy. Crushing all resistance, Malak's war of conquest has left the Jedi Order scattered and vulnerable as countless Knights fall in battle, and many more swear allegiance to the new Sith Master. In the skies above the Outer Rim world of Taris, a Jedi battle fleet engages the forces of Darth Malak in a desperate effort to halt the Sith's galactic domination..." So goes the opening crawl of Bioware's legendary Star Wars RPG. To this day it remains the seminal Star Wars game. Taking place in 3956 BBY (3,956 years Before the Battle of Yavin), the game tells the tale of the Prodigal Knight, Revan. Approximately 50 years after Dark Lord of the Sith Exar Kun's attempt at galactic domination, the Mandalorian Wars have devastated both the Republic and the Jedi Order. You wake up in orbit of Taris aboard the Republic cruiser Endar Spire with no idea what the hell is going on. As you escape the ship to Sith-controlled Taris, you slowly begin to immerse yourself in a deep plot spanning the known Galaxy, which sees the unfolding of the Jedi Civil War, and reveals the long forgotten secrets of the ancient Rakatan Infinite Empire. Featuring the ability to build your own lightsaber, choose from three separate Jedi classes, and walking the line between the Light and Dark Sides of the Force, anyone's Jedi fantasies can be fulfilled in this game. I give this game a perfect 10.

A great RPG well worth porting to iOS

Belzebubba

This really is a classic in the Star Wars game franchise. I owned it on the original Xbox (the one before the XB360) and it was one of my favorite games for the console. If you like Star Wars or just good RPGs in general you will not be disappointed. The storyline is very unique for a Star Wars game and holds to the sci-fi rules of the franchise while opening a unique side story.

Not understanding the negative reviews at all

The man 1235

I see a couple negative reviews and I'm not understanding why. This is KOTOR, the game that defined the rpg genera. Yes the game is old but it's the full game in its prime, nothing changed and people need to understand this. It's an exact port from how it runs on the Xbox and the pc it's the same game and I'm not really understanding why people don't get that. The controls are eh, I didn't really expect much from an iOS version but it's still the game I love to death. The menus work pretty good and the save feature works well to. If you've played KOTOR you know what you're paying for. If you wanna know what it is and wanna give it a try this is for you.

My greatest iPad mini game to date

Hola world! I'm batman

To those people who say that the game is laggy, you probably have a bad device for using this game. Also, if you say the controls are clunky or unwieldy, you are impatient and need to follow Yoda's advice. If you don't like the long amounts of reading or how the game plays out, then that is no reason to lodge a review saying that is your opinion. That's like complaining to the government that you don't like the grocery store down the street, there's just nothing you can do about it. This is a great game, really gets in-depth about backstory, how the characters met, and what they are doing wherever they are. I would pay the 9.99 dollars again in a heartbeat. There are people who say things like, "Remove darth Brandon!" Or "I don't like swoop racing, take it out" and that is just not how it works. You cannot remove features from a game that was ported, that's just part of the normal game. Yes, I agree, there are one or two glitches in the game, but if you are patient you can fix them yourselves. Now, I would be fine with the bad reviews if they were logical, but they are not. If they said things like, "good game, but it does not appeal to people with no patience" then I would be completely fine with it. All games have a type of people they don't appeal to, and this one appeals to more people than most, people are just way to expectant. Also, those of you that say that it is just not very advanced, it's a 10+ year old game, how advanced could it be? It's more advanced than some of the modern games I have played, like undertale, even though that's a good game too. All In all, an amazing game for anyone who ever bothered watching Star Wars, and I have played it many times over. I hope this helped! F.Y.I. This was not paid. I am actually writing this review of my own free will, absolutely nothing was given to me as an incentive.
