I've never used this app very often but when I DID (emphasis on the past tense here) it was awesome. It used to just magically calibrate the simulation to the real sky by giving your phone a few figure-8 flicks when opening the app, now you have to manually "calibrate" and I can only move the sim screen right or left which is basically useless because I NEED to match it to the moon because I don't KNOW, and can't locate any other recognizable stars/celestial formations myself in order to calibrate it... which is kind of the whole point of this app. So it's basically useless now unless you just want to flick around a night sky sim on your phone. Who needs a real sky anyways?

Awesome View to the Stars, love its ability to align and identify celestial objects.

This is a great app. There are a lot of nice features. One feature I love is the sky overlay. It allows me to locate a particular star or to identify a star or planet or the ISS using the sky overlay.

I've been using this app for quite some time and am constantly amazed at how much is in it. The visuals are stunning and the controls are easy to use. Anyone I show this app to will always ask the name afterwards. Great for kids and adults alike.

I've loved this app since I first got it and felt it was perfect from the start. Somehow, with each update, the developers keep making it even more perfect.

The ap is great for info. I love being able to aim at the sky and see what the constellations are within my scope. My only frustration is the daily picture - I wish I could turn that off. I continue to love this AP- I use it as a teacher with science and ART. I love to explore #astrology - this AP helps me to see where the planets are in my daily cycle and how they relate to the solar system.
