$8.99 per single issue is way too much. And how is a subscription at $9.80 per issue a “savings”? Derp.
You have to pay for the magazines or subscribe to them which I did not know when I downloaded the app.
More than doubled the subscription price with only one week notice. Horrible customer treatment. Canceled. Won't even be able to access paid content after a week. Thieves.
Really? You’re jacking up the price of your measly 4 issues per year from $31.99 to $48.99?? $17 for what? News that’s already 3 months old when it arrives? And it’s a digital mag so it’s not the rising cost of paper. I would have kept the sub at the original price but this is just a money grab like CBS All Access, which I begrudgingly already pay for. Get your act together CBS. You do have control over your licensees.
I tap the app and it shows me the initial splash screen and then nothing. Says for iOS 4+, I have 4.2.1 so I thought it would work on my iPod. Nope.
Tried to subscribe 3 times and it crashed all three times just when it asked for my age.
I've read the print version quite often, but IMHO, digital should cost substantially less, especially as a large part of this magazine's high cost - I assume - is the thick, glossy paper it's printed on. A free or reduced price preview issue would also go a long way - lets see how well you translated it before I fork over! Not biting for now. Sorry.
