Great, but Flawed

Millenx

At its core, the game is solid. Interface could be designed better for readability. I loved the challenge it provided, but the "Design Ship" option ruined it for me. It is a great addition if you were forced to pay the cost of the new ship. Instead, you are granted the ship for free (not sure of it's by design), thus taking away all the motivation for making money for new ships.

Great Value Sandbox Space Game

MintDragon

What a fun game! It is solid enough with the default settings (and Normal difficulty) to tool around the galaxy and experience life as a Star Trader. On a deeper level, you can start off the game more specialized in your training/experience to put you in the right direction to become a pirate, merchant, military officer, explorer, even a bounty hunter. The game then becomes deep with politics, shortages, alien life, ship-building, crew management, and more. For the price, great value and a fun pick-up-and-play game.

Great!

If you love spending $100s on premium currency, spam tapping monsters, harvesting crops, or gathering fake friends on social media to inflate your daily bonus; you will hate this game. As far as I know, this is the only game of its kind on the AppStore. A knock off of Eacape Velocity? Nah.. The same genre, packed onto a mobile platform... Yes please!

Good game

Sid Meier's Pirates in space.

I love it but it’s unplayable now,

As stated by many others, this is probably the most enjoyable space strategy rpg there is on iOS. I am hooked but the app crashes every few minutes when navigating the user interface on planets. It’s frustrating and it looks like I need a pc or Mac to play star traders 2 which looks even more awesome. Playing on iPhone 7 + so maybe your device won’t crash. It’s def worth a shot but try the free version first.
