Easy to use!

Good app, but...
Ncjt75

The stock features that come for free work great. I tried purchasing the satellites and none of them are available.

Missing Features - Update Needed
DF Koelling

Love it for having the groupings that I need in a quick and ready visual mosaic. Would really wish they included some additional features to stars and constellations and satellites so that one could: - Copy the name into the clipboard - Pull up full and current Wikipedia article on it - Google search it Especially since I paid for them. That would make me reconsider to 5 stars.

Not worth it
Jowhosiah

Nope can't see any of the constellations your looking for ( you have to buy a package for it. you can find the sun, moon, mars etc.

Great

Showed it some kids at work they were blown away

Planet finder
eapr2010

Easily points any planet in the direction of the planet. Even a novice can find planet in the sky's and see if the planet is visible for naked eye like now

WOW!!! ;) (2 YEAR UPDATE)
Space Luver69

*UPDATE* So, I've had this incredible app for just under two years now, so I thought it would be reasonable to do an updated review at this time. First off, Nir Alperovitch, creator of this app, has done some unbelievable work, despite the mixed reviews that one may see. I will now point out some of the pros and cons that I have noticed during the 730 days that I have had this app. Pros: -still finds planets in the night sky with impeccable accuracy. Just used it last night and my reaction was "WOW". -Another pro is that this app gives unbelievably useful information on each planet in the vast sky that consumes our planet, Earth. For example, did you know that "Venus is sometimes called earth's 'sister planet'" (Alperovitch)??? -The final pro that I will mention is in regards to the overall usability of this app. Nir has me thoroughly convinced that literally anyone, even those who are incapable of most things, can use this app with ease. Incredible. Cons: After reading through roughly 535 reviews on this app, I noticed a common trend amongst the 1-star reviews. Most of these pertained to people who seemed to be disappointed at the fact that one has to pay to see stars, constellations, etc. My problem with these reviews is that the name of the app is Planet Finder. It's pretty obvious what this app is intended for, finding planets, and to get upset that you have to pay for constellations is simply ignorant. Sure, if this app were called "Planet, Star, and Constellation Finder", I would understand your frustration. -For me the only other con is that the size of the app increased about .6 MB. With that said, the updated app is well worth the storage, and is still easily one of the best apps that I have even obtained in my life. That is all *PREVIOUS REVIEW* This app enables the user to harvest an incredible amount of vital information about our wonderful sky. Pros: ~the user can track not one or two, but EVERY planet known to mankind. ~clear and consider photos enable the "tracker" to distinguish between all of our extravagant planets Cons: ~the planets seem to move around a lot on the app Overall this is easily the best app I have obtained in my entire life. If there was a scenario in my lifetime that forced me to delete all of my apps but one, this app would most definitely be in my top 4. Worth all of the 11.8 MB!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
