2nd review now on 10.2. It seems to not know about the solar eclipse or planetary conjunctions. Mostly events in history and meteor showers. Still has the problem and not been updated in 2 years. Still nice app but has its limitations.

It too a little time to fully figure out how best to use this, and perhaps I should have read or watched something, but now I feel so comfortable after a few uses. I really enjoy seeing a star in the night sky and very quickly and confidently be able to identify it. I also enjoy being able to look for a planet that I know will be visible and determine where I’ll have to look to find it. I love the UI and the ability to scan the skies in real time as the display scrolls along with me.

It looked fun and more user friendly then the other app I currently using, however, it does not have my location as an option, nor can I input the coordinates to my location. This does not impress me.

Star chart is simply amazing. I no longer have to wonder the names of our visible beauties, especially those orbs named for my deceased people. Easy to use, even for a total un nerd.

I don't use the app enough to be super proficient, but I still get great info. Just hold in the direction of what I want to identify and get the info just like that.
