Was using this to get local news... Until the last 2 updates, now all it does is freeze up. Gets worse with each update idk why I bother having on my phone!!
Wish I had old version

This app loads so slowly and moves in a very jerky manner. The previous version was far superior. The old app was my go-to source for local news. The more I use this version the more I hate it. Updated 10-30-14 and it seems just as crappy as before.

Last update no better. Crashes when trying to load individual articles. Any way to go back two plus years to old app that was really good and forget nonsense since then.

The individual articles don't load. You click on an article to read it but it just spins and never opens. Been like this since the last update. Useless app when you can't read the news that's supposedly in it somewhere.

Now they require registration through subscription. Better news at better sites out there. Another newspaper slowly circling the drain by restricting viewers.

Poor pioneer press. Where DID you go wrong? You now limit the use of your app to those who subscribe when your writers could have worldwide exposure! For shame...
Frustrating App!

I use this app daily , but find it very frustrating. For one thing, when u first open the app, I want it to open at Top Stories. No, it opens in some random place, sometimes in the section I last was reading, sometimes at All Stories. For another thing, newer content is slow to load. A page will load with older content that I have already read. Then a notice comes up that newer content is available. Finally the newer content will appear. Why put me through all that? I shouldn't have to wait that long for the most recent news!! Please make improvements!!
