Good start but needs some improvements

Drew68141

I love the concept of app. I am new to warhammer 40k so it is nice to see just how well some units stand up to each other toe to toe. I like the "script" option which walks through the last trial. You have to pay to access traits and equipment which are not complete. I was not able to exactly model my Grey Knight units because there was no Nemisis weapons or Storm Bolters. There is no way to save. Eventually it will forget the units you have entered. It would be nice to store a history of units as well to allow quick reuse.

Good app but come on

5 bucks for what should have come with it

Epic Failure

Do not buy this app. It is hard to use and has significant programming and arithmetic errors in the code that make the output useless. The author is either truly incompetent or never bothered to make sure his program actually functioned prior to releasing it. Buyer beware.

Pretty good

For the most part the app is good. The basic app (without traits or equipment) is decent enough and will get the job done. I felt that the price tag on the traits and equipment to be a little high for what you get. Especially considering what is missing. There are a few minor spelling issues that I attribute to auto correct (rendering in stead of rending for example) For future updates I would like to see: More equipment: from all the codexes. Nids need love too. Put in an option for rerolling 1's on the to hit roll (scything talons) Add in preferred enemy rolls. Other then these minor gripes all around good product.

Demo only / in app purchases

Good app but beware to really use this you have to pay in-app $5. Would have been more inclined to buy if the author had presented this more clearly as a demo.

Unpolished but promising

This is a good start to a much needed mathhammer app. After saves were added I bought the full version and have liked the results - until all the saved units were corrupted (their stats changed with pluses and minuses). I hope this gets fixed because it is a hole lot better than anything I've built in a spreadsheet. Without that big if give it four stars. A few requests: - Could you allow it to store saves alphabetically? Or in any other way than order of when they were saved? - It would also be nice if it could accommodate sergeants or mixed model units, at least to gauge the impact of adding a force axe to a guard squad or power fist to a tactical squad. - Adding impact to vehicles would be great! - It is easy enough to do by hand, but some metric for adding points into the equation would be great. Showing damage per point given that sim or resilience per point.
