Doesn't Connect to Azure. $10 wasted.

G_D_B

The app does not support azure because it does not support SSL connections. According to the support boards, it's been over a year since the need was identified and it apparently still hasn't been fixed. Now that I've spent $10 on it, I can't use it for my primary use case.

Great App!!!!

I use the app all of the time to check on databases, run basic queries when in meetings when co-workers need info etc. It is fast and gives me all I could hope for in a portable app.

SQL Azure support needed

Asibin

You can connect using jdbc to regular sql servers but i would like to connect to sql azure instances. You get an I/O socket error, it can connect but then dies.

Perfect app.

Perfect app.

Doesn't support even recent older versions of iOS

Phoenix2000

So can't even install it. No reason that this should require the latest version of iOS.

Not as advertised

Eytan1

This is not a serious tool as you can not execute stored procedures that return result sets. If you run an sp you will get Xx rows affected But YOU CAN NOT VIEW THE RESULT SET Do not purchase for anything more than simple queries. They claim they are a serious tool enterprise level for IT pros. This is very far from the sad truth.

Won't connect to aws/rds

Th555555

Only bought it for that but it won't connect to Amazon MySQL servers (rds).

Update: Still stopped working after update

dimitrioo

Great app when it works. The app worked perfectly until I update to the current version. I now cannot connect to our SQL db. Keep getting a TCP/IP error message and/or connection times out. Update 5/12: Installed new version and I still get the error message with 1 of 2 databases. Update 5/23: Installed newest version and still getting error. Still not working! Come on and fix this! I know it's the update because I didn't update my old phone and it still works!

Could do more

If all you want to do is browse the contents of tables, it's fine. But it doesn't seem to allow you to run your own queries or anything. Also it should utilize the 12" iPad's larger screen.
