Most items are only available for a few minutes per day, and there is no means to pre-order—especially bad for vegetarians. I will stick to one of their dozen competitors that can actually provide me with food.

I started out on Sprig because I wanted to get a free meal with an introductory promo code, as I have done countless times with the many food delivery startups that have come out recently. For almost all of these services, I did not use them more than one or two times, usually because their delivery fees were outrageous or they didn't offer me more than Grubhub simply did. However, Sprig sets itself apart for multiple reasons. 1) FAST delivery times. I get my food delivered as fast as in 10 minutes and as late as 40. On average, it's about 25 minutes, which is incredibly awesome and way better than any other delivery service I've tried. 2) Reasonable prices. I'd say a meal averages $12 on Sprig, which is decent for the service offered and the fact that it's cooked by them using high quality ingredients. Delivery fees are low too, and even better if you get their $10 a month Sprig Go subscription to eliminate delivery fees. 3) Wholesome food with informative nutritional information. I can trust that I am eating relatively clean and have the power to make informed decisions about what I choose to eat. They even categorize the food options by heaviness/cleanliness so you can choose even more easily. 4) Awesome customer service. If a delivery is late, I will pretty much always get some credit back in my account. If an order is wrong, I can easily call support to fix it pretty quickly. If I was highly unsatisfied with my food or some accident happened, I might get full credit back or even a refund. Extreme dissatisfaction is rare, but it happens, and they do a great job of reconciling it. 5) Awesome app. It looks nice and functions well. They've added new little things since I first started using it to make the UX even better; one small example is asking for your buzzer code and floor so you don't have to specify specific instructions like that in the delivery instructions. You can track your delivery until it gets to your door, and it'll prompt you for feedback at the end of your meal, which customer support does read! I've had credit awarded back for small dissatisfactory comments I've mentioned in the feedback. 6) Of course, the food is actually good! I especially like the weekend brunch options. Sprig is basically my go to food choice if I'm not cooking and I want something quick and reasonably priced. I've been using it for about 4 months and I've been thoroughly impressed with this product for which I had 0 expectations to begin with. I wasn't looking for a go to food service, but Sprig pleasantly surprised me and I have been using it ever since.

It used to be really good overall. Now, the delivery is always late. Food tastes terrible because most of the times its burnt.

I like that they offer healthy menu options and give you a nutritional breakdown for each item. It can be a little pricey but if you're starving and tired it's a great service for when you don't want to cook. The meals I've ordered always seem to come even quicker than the estimate. The food was good, don't get me wrong. But for $15, I definitely expect a bigger portion. I ended up cooking a second dinner immediately after finishing my meal from Sprig.

Soup food

I've been using these guys for a while, and I am a member. The food is usually really good, the delivery is usually really fast… Recently though every time I order the portions get smaller, delivery gets longer, the prices are a bit higher, and more of the meal seems to be filler.

Good idea, bad execution

I want to love sprig. I wanted to try them last year when they were newer, but they didn't deliver north of Belmont. A year later, I wanted to try again, and they still don't. Lame. I ordered sprig from work. It all came quickly and the process was effortless. But the food is a 3/5 at very very BEST -- I definitely wasn't excited after my first bite. The vegetarian option (singular, never plural) is straight up abysmal or else way way way too much cheese. Also thought the energy bites and truffles were not good. Again, wanted to like it. 5 stars for ease of use but 2 stars for limited delivery, lame food and extremely limited veg options.
