Every time I try to record a song with a video it delays my singing in the audio track so it does not match up with my lips, or with the song. Very frustrating. Works fine without video but I'd rather be able to include a video.

Winners are not given prizes on time

Winners of contests on the app are given their prizes only after 7-10 days. The cash out also takes 10 days, so you only get your prize money after about 15 days. UPDATE: Been 2 weeks since I’ve won a prize in a contest and I still haven’t received the money after cashing out. The awards for winning contests are only sent to the winners 2 weeks after the contest. IT HAS ONLY BEEN GETTING WORSE AND THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO COMMUNICATION FROM THE APP. Please be advised before taking part in the contests.

Every song I chose is not calibrated properly. The lyrics on “blue moon” and “duality” plus many others begin highlighting well after they’re supposed to. Nice idea, terrible timing, perhaps developers should learn what 4/4 timing is to help them out a little bit or perhaps listen to the songs they have. I downloaded it, the app failed and I got rid of it. Can’t even keep the timing right from the lyrics to the beat.

Okay, so new updates. I’m a little disappointed the prize amounts are now less but with more contests popping up all the time it’s still pretty awesome. The new look of the app is really nice and contests are running longer I’ve noticed. Not sure how I feel about that yet but all in all I still love Spotlite more than any other karaoke app. Keep the good stuff coming guys and I’ll keep singing! ?❤️???
A good app with bad contests

I have enjoyed the app as have many others due the contests that they have in which you can win rewards. The problem has become of dishonest people manipulating the way they get their votes to win the contests. This seems to be harder for Spotlite to notice ( even though it has been reported by many) as it is noticed by every other singer and non- singer using the app. When someone can magically have hundreds of votes just appear out of thin air, nobody or very few comments on their performance, followers with no photo’s or songs on their profile, yet still win contests, it’s not hard to see what is happening. What is more sad, is that some of the cheaters can actually sing but I guess just want to feel more important. The other thought is that they have figured out that if they turn it into a business of cheating but make it less obvious, you could have a decent income. Just look at those that always are in the top 2 or 3. **************UPDATE*********** Per the reply below, I have moved my rating up 1 Star. I will edit my review and raise stars when I see permanent correction and measures to eliminate fraudulent voting. Please take note that when contestants suddenly appear in a contest with 100’s of votes that they already had upon first entering, it is fraudulent. Additionally, it is unlikely that a person would have 1000’s of votes with very few comments on any of their songs. The final results should only be shown after the winners have been screened for any improper voting. Currently if we go back and look at contests that have ended, it still shows the dishonest people in the top 10. Thank you for taking this matter seriously and I hope that the Spotlite community will flourish because of your actions.

I am new to this app and so far I really am enjoying it.but here’s my only conflict. Suppose I record a song using the wonderful “ truthfully speaking “ app and I want a copy of the video and audio, but I only have access to them through this app or a link which requires internet. Me personally, I take pride in the singing that I do. When I get chance . I would like it if there were an option to download your performance. Audio or video or both in my choice of quality. I wouldn’t expect it to be free and not necessarily super cheap but not really expensive. If they are my performances then afford me the opportunity to download them. If not it only seems as if I use your music to record videos of me singing and you allowing me to watch it and even let other see, j can’t have it. Fix this please. Oh and how do I end a contest in 105 rating and start the next contest at >500 I don’t understand it seams unfair to me maybe someone can explain that to me. Anyone should be able to do a due and If I want to sing with someone in particular and a particular song I should be Able too. But I can’t because it’s the same people. Whom are may be really good singers but for what it may be just not a good match. Can I just Choose a song, coordinate with another member and do the duet. Interactive live feed with audio and video. What if multiple people could sing together at the same time or play instruments at same time now that would be cool. Think about, but I’ll understand if it is to much to handle, as I am sure it would be daunting task to create such a platform. Thanks for your time. Update: a lot of this have changed since I posted the previous review, good job on marking some much need changes now we just need clear instructions on how to implement them.
