The best streaming service I’ve tried, but with room for improvement

As a former Winamp user, and a person that listens to full albums most of the time, some aspects of the Spotify app are a bit clunky. That said, it compares favorably against Apple Music and YouTube Music. Many of the default settings are a problem, but most are shared with the above-mentioned services. I don’t like that it assumes that I want it to keep playing related music when an album finishes, for example. On top of that, when I do use this feature, it tends to replay the same song in a single session within 6 or 7 songs. However, I have eclectic music tastes, and Spotify (and Apple Music) have all the obscure stuff that YouTube Music doesn’t. Spotify wins here, however, because it surfaces new music from my favorite artists best of all of them. One feature that I think Apple Music wins out in is the displaying of lyrics. Spotify makes it hard to find them at times, and stops showing them after every track. Apple Music not only assumes you want them to display for as long as you’re listening, but even assumes you want the screen to remain awake in this case. While I prefer the default home tab of Apple Music, I’m still giving Spotify and myself time to get to know each other. I’m not really sure why it offers the same 6 albums at the top, or why it displays some of what it does as you scroll down, but I feel like it’s improved slightly in the month I’ve been using it. At the end of the day, it’s sort of a toss-up between the two, but others in my household (with more mainstream music taste) prefer the recommendations of Spotify, so that what I’m going with.

This app is far more advanced than anything. This app is literally the best music app in the game by far it was made to be a music app so when designed it was just built better they don’t specialize in anything except music when a company focuses solely on one thing it makes it better.

It no longer allows me to click the “and more” part of my playlist anymore. I can’t go into my playlists and play specific songs or even edit the songs in the playlists anymore!?

So I love Spotify and all but I can’t freaking press to see the songs that I have on my playlist so I can’t delete or remove any and I can’t see the songs that I have on it

I really enjoy Spotify so much I think it's perfect for late nights when I can't sleep or am feel sad I can just listen to "Your new boyfriend "by:Wilbur soot I love how it gives me personalised play lists and recommends me podcast I actually enjoy! and the best part is٫it's FREE
