The only EQ I have ever found on any platform to actual make the volume go beyond the original volume of the phone.The only thing I wish they had was some effects Reverb. Eco. Hall..

This is an updated review, I had some complaints. There were a lot of glitches in the beginning, constantly crashing on my device and not playing tracks. SpotEQ is a great app fine tuning and boosting tracks. There are some glitches but it is worth it. You will hear the difference. It would be better if albums stayed in sync with the tracks. I was about to return these outdoor speakers until I tried this app. Literally, a complete 360 degree transformation of the sound. Amazing job, team!

This app works well fine-tuning the speakers in my car with an underpowered audio system, as well as my Yamaha sound bar to bring out much needed clarity. My only feature request is a setting to maintain a constant volume level between tracks like the main Spotify has. The volume level jump can be jarring when using this app.

I like the fact that I am able to control the quality of the sound but there are three things missing that are important for me.. first, the ability to search and find a playlist, second, is that it doesnt allow me to arrange my playlist alphabetically or based on the date it was created, and third is that I can't shuffle play my playlist.. so if your selling point is to be able to interface with Spotify and provide me better control and music quality, then maybe you can try to provide us with other options that Spotify can offer me. Thank you.

This application achieves all expectations a listener could have in terms of trimming eq to listening perfection. That does not mean installation is always simple or without roadblocks from iOS. Such was my experience. Livid when it would not perform to even baseline expectations I sent emails to its developer expecting them to route to spam never to be seen again. In less than 24 hours I was in a dialogue with Zack Fletcher who put me on track to find iOS/Safari/Content Blockers which was set to on. Signed, Satisfied customer/avid user/grateful collaborator
Great eq, interface lacking a bit

The eq is really nice. I like how you can adjust the baseline gain, for some devices I own this lets me increase the max volume by a noticeable amount compared to the regular Spotify app. I find myself using Spotify to find music first then switching back over to spot eq once if found something to listen to, it’s just the gui and features are way better on the original Spotify app. One thing I think would be a really awesome addition to this app is the ability to add a tube filter in the settings.
